at the DMC

All that you need to know

Here are the general terms and conditions for bookings at the DMC. Please be sure to read specific booking terms at the checkout when you are booking at the DMC, as different events, rooms and services have bespoke terms tailored to their features.

Booking Procedure:

All meeting room bookings must be made through the designated your MyDMC account, or the DMC Experience team.

Bookings should be made well in advance to ensure availability.



Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time.

Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellation of catering must be made 72 hours before the booking to avoid charges.



Usage Restrictions:

Meeting rooms are to be used only for business-related activities.

Any activities deemed illegal or deemed inappropriate activity to be held at the DMC’s by BMBC are strictly prohibited.



Capacity and Furniture:

The maximum capacity of the meeting room must not be exceeded.

Furniture arrangements should be returned to their original positions after use.



Equipment and Technology:

Any equipment or technology provided in the meeting room should be used responsibly.

Damages to equipment due to negligence may result in additional charges.



Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Users are responsible for leaving the meeting room in a clean and tidy condition.

Any catering-related items should be disposed of properly.



Security and Access:

Users must comply with building safety security protocols.

The individual who is hosting a meeting needs to make the other attendees aware of the fire procedure and any other points highlighted to them.

Any security cards issued to the host or guests should not be shared with other individuals. If additional cars are needed, please request these from reception.



Overstay Charges:

Users should adhere to the booked time slot, and any overrun may result in additional charges.



Liability:

DMC is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the meeting.

Users are liable for any damage caused to the meeting room or its contents during their booking.



Amendments to Terms:

These terms and conditions are subject to change, and any amendments will be communicated to users in advance.

If any of these terms are found to be invalid, it does not invalidate the rest.



Payment:

Payment should be made by setting up an account with BMBC (If you're a new customer, our team will be in touch with you after creating your account with us to set this up). This will need to be created in advance of the booking taking place. Once the booking takes place, an invoice will be raised at the end of the calendar month detailing all bookings related to yourself for that month. Payment for this invoice must be made with in 30 days. Payment can also be made via card payment on the day of the booking, but before it starts. If you wish to pay via this method, please make us aware when making a booking. Payment this way must be made in full before access to the room is granted.
