South Yorkshire Cultural & Creative Industries Network
5:30pm on 02/12/2021
South Yorkshire creatives are invited to the second in a series of inspiring networking events to share ideas, make meaningful contacts and celebrate the region’s successes.
Hosted at the Digital Media Centre in Barnsley on Thursday 2 December, the event is free to attend. It will feature a stimulating panel discussion with a dynamic line-up of speakers from the cultural and creative sectors, with panellists soon to be announced.
There will also be an opportunity for audience members to get involved via an interactive Q&A session or by delivering a short presentation on their own creative ideas and successes.
Anybody who would like to share a creative idea at the event is asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance with a short introduction and what you plan to talk about.
About South Yorkshire Cultural and Creative Industries Network
Established after the success of the Cultural and Creative Industries Summit held in September 2021, the South Yorkshire Cultural and Creative Industries Network has been created to offer a collaborative, supportive and inspiring forum for creative practitioners across theatre, arts, publishing, design, music, TV, photography and much more.
Organised by Showroom Workstation and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA), the network will host a programme of insightful events across venues in the region. It is designed to help nurture talent to further boost the sector, whilst highlighting the great importance of the industry to the UK’s economy, both now and in the future.
