Design a New Product, Ready for Market

10:00am on 28/06/2022

Are you a Barnsley based SME looking to solve an everyday problem, or solve a problem for your customers? Maybe it’s unique to you, maybe it’s something you wish could easily be solved. Why not join this upcoming workshop with our Maker experts to help us solve it and create a new product.

You’ll learn what is and isn’t possible with a laser cutter, take time to design a new product in line with your brand, and create your first working prototype! By the end of the workshops, you should have a finished product, ready for market!

Design a New Product with Brightbox is part of the MakerLab located on the ground floor of DMC 02. At the MakerLab, we provide a range of online and offline events that share ‘art of the possible’ examples of digital innovation, provide access to a range of additional knowledge and expertise, as well as accessible ‘how to’ content and demonstrations.

These workshops are part of our Digital Innovation for Growth Programme (for eligible SME’s*) which offers 12 hours of fully funded access to our prototyping and testing facilities in the Maker Lab, and the opportunity to work with Sheffield Hallam University’s academic experts.
