Digital health specialists HMA announce partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust to support teenage and young adult patients with cancer
Yorkshire-based digital agency, HMA will work closely with Teenage Cancer Trust to redesign and develop its IAM portal which helps clinicians understand the needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity dedicated to providing young people with cancer with specialist nursing care and support, has awarded HMA the contract to deliver a new and improved Integrated Assessment Mapping (IAM) Portal following a competitive tender process.
The team at HMA will work closely with the Teenage Cancer Trust, it’s stakeholders clinicians and patients to co-develop a solution that enables healthcare professionals and young people to work in partnership throughout the young person’s cancer journey; with a key focus on putting the patient in control as an active participant in their own care and facilitate self-management when treatment has finished.
Teenage Cancer Trust identified HMA as a potential partner based on previous award wins, in particular, the award for Best Not-for-Profit Digital Experience at the UK Digital Experience Awards in 2018.

This announcement follows a series of contract wins for HMA within the health, science and tech sectors including its appointment as stem4’s tech partner for a Tech for Good project funded by Comic Relief and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
